Let's Accomplish Victory Now!

To the amazing, history-making Youth of SGI-USA!

If Sensei were to come to America today, what victories would you share with him?

In a message marking the SGI-USA Nationwide Leaders Meeting, held June 24th, 2007, Sensei said:

“Victory in our quest lies in the shared struggle of the mentor and disciples and in the unity of ‘many in body, one in mind.’ This is the path of victory and happiness. Please advance joyful and brightly, always together with me and our fellow members” (World Tribune, July 6, 2007, Special Pullout p. 1).
With the spirit of "many in body, one in mind," let’s accomplish victory now in preparation for Sensei’s return to America. With this sense of urgency in mind, we would like to fully initiate our “100 Days of Unity” blog together with you.
Our 100-day campaign began June 24 – with the announcement of the new three-territory system of America – and ends October 2 – the 47th anniversary of Sensei’s first visit to America.

Uniting our hearts with Sensei, let’s :

1) Welcome Sensei home to Soka University America by his 80th birthday;

2) Share the philosophy and practice of Nichiren Buddhism on an unprecedented scale throughout the country;

3) With recognition that prayer is the power source for victory:

* let’s chant one million daimoku by Sensei’s 80th birthday, January 2, 2008
* let’s fight our own devilish functions and expand our hearts by praying for another person’s breakthrough
* let’s create a groundswell of joy in our Gakkai activities and in our daily lives; and

4) Finally, let’s create a harmonious SGI family together with our men’s and women’s division.

In the coming days and weeks, this blog will be brimming with activity reports from throughout the three territories, as well as personal experiences and breakthroughs, quotes from The Human Revolution and The New Human Revolution, and a weekly World Tribune preview.
Thank you very much for all your efforts! Please check back in for reports on our exciting advancement!

Your Devoted Youth Leaders,
Kimmy, Nathan, and Vinessa
